Product information<\/h2>\n

The biometric palm reader consists of 3 components: a registration unit, a biometric reader and a controller. There are different biometric techniques, but the palm vein pattern is among the ones that are internal. Fingerprint, iris and face are all external biometric readers. Because of the large surface area, this type of biometric reader<\/em> is capturing over 5 million data points which is far more than in other techniques. This means an accuracy advantage compared to other biometric readers.<\/p>\n

Registration unit<\/strong>
First the registration unit is used to record the vein pattern in the user’s palm. You only need to do this once. Instead of being stored as an image, the pattern is immediately encoded and stored digitally in the form of a registered template.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Biometric reader<\/strong>
The biometric palm reader is installed and gives individual users access to rooms or data for which they have been granted autorisation. The biometric reader records the vein pattern of the palm and sends it to the controller.<\/p>\n

The controller<\/strong>
The controller contains the database in which authorised individuals and their unique biometric characteristics are stored. It compares the vein pattern of the offered palm with the encrypted data in the database in real time.<\/p>\n
